Oloop is pleased to announce its commitment to donate 1% of Time to a variety of causes that we feel benefit our communities and our world.

Oloop Pledges to Donate 1% of Time to the Community

Even before we embarked on the Pledge 1% program, our team members were actively engaged in individual acts of charity, philanthropy, and direct assistance to those less fortunate. With our commitment to the 1% Time donation, we at Oloop have now formalized our efforts to encourage volunteerism across the organization. Here are a few of the causes we are already supporting. 

• Hands-on volunteering with groups that are working to improve our environment and sustainability, along with others that are seeking to assist the homeless. Our work extends to groups such as Surfrider and local shelters for those without homes.
• Fundraising for organizations focused on clean water, wildlife conservation, ending hunger and poverty, finding cures for persistent diseases, and more. We support non-profits such as the American Cancer Society, the Nature Conservancy, Habitat for Humanity, Clean Water Fund, Grameen Foundation, and others.
• Skills based and pro bono assistance to nonprofit organizations that are fighting to promote human rights, civil liberties, and equality for all people regardless of sex, gender, race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, orientation, or ability.
• Workforce innovations that include training, with a focus on helping underrepresented talent develop skills and get placed in positions. Other initiatives involve diversity and inclusion, internships, mentoring, career placement for new graduates and the underemployed, and much more.
